TAPCO Link.MIDI 4x4 - 4 Input / 4 Output USB MIDI Interface for Mac OS X and Windows XP

The Link.MIDI 4x4 from Tapco is a four input, four output USB MIDI interface that is powered directly off the USB connection. Since it uses the USB drivers in the operating system of the computer, no drivers are required to be installed.

The interface has two modes of operation, USB mode and THRU mode. When the USB switch is out, the unit operates with four independent MIDI inputs and four independent MIDI outputs, all routed through the USB port to the computer.

When the switch is pushed in, MIDI data appearing at input one is routed to all four outputs and there is no MIDI data transferred via the USB connection. However, the USB connection still needs to be maintained for powering the interface.
